Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Homewood-Flossmoor High School senior who recognizes and values the important role libraries play in education and in a democratic society.

This scholarship honors students who demonstrate an appreciation for access to information, lifelong learning, and the role libraries serve in supporting informed, engaged communities.

Scholarship Amount:
$500

Selection Criteria:
College bound HF high school senior

Graduating HF senior who appreciates the value of libraries in education and in a democratic society.

Selection Process:
The recipient will be selected by the HF Counseling office.
