Suzanne E. “Nebs” Nebendahl Girls Golf Scholarship Award

Amount of Award:    $500.00

Target:                   Graduating senior of the girls golf team who will be attending                                       college

Guidelines:          1.  Girl’s golf coach will select recipient

                             2.  Recipient must demonstrate a passion for

                                  golf and not merely be a good golfer.

                             3.  Recipient should be a positive role model

                                  and demonstrate strong team motivations

                                  and a strong work ethic.

                             4.  Recipient must be academically above

                                  average.

Kevin F. Maher Memorial Wrestling Scholarship

Amount of Award:  2 awards of $1,500.00 each

Target:                   Graduating senior’s who are members of the Varsity                                                       wrestling team and have a C+ GPA.

Guidelines:          1.  Two letters of recommendation are needed.

                                  One from the Varsity wrestling coach and

                                  a second from any teacher.

                             2.  A written biographical statement is required.

                                  An additional essay is optional.

                             3.  Financial need will be a consideration.

                             4.  Minimum of four semesters at H-F.

                             5.  Student must be accepted by a four-year

                                  college or university.

                             6.  Any student receiving any other financial

                                  award or scholarship (not loans) from any

                                  other source shall be ineligible for this award.

Kevin F. Maher Memorial Golf Scholarship

Amount of Award:  2 awards of $1,500.00 each

Target:                   Graduating senior’s who are members of the Varsity golf                                               team and have a C+ GPA.

Scott Sims Memorial Scholarship

Amount of Award:  $1,000.00

Target:                   Senior member of the H-F Water Polo team

                               who demonstrates a love of the sport and

                               has a positive attitude about life.  The

                               recipient will be attending college.

Guidelines:            1. Financial need will be a consideration.

                                               2. Must provide a copy of letter of acceptance

                                    from college you plan to attend.

                                               3. Have a minimum cumulative grade point

                                    average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.                

Rachford Scholarship

Amount of Award:     $1,000.00

Target:    Graduating seniors requiring financial assistance for tuition.

Guidelines:   

                             1.  Student must be in good academic standing

                                  and involved in extra-curricular activities,

                             2.  A short essay must be provided including a

                                  biography, description of your experience as

                                  a student at H-F, the college you will be

                                  attending and, if known, your major course

                                  of study.

Elyse Bell Scholarship

Amount of Award: Discretionary

Target:                   Graduating senior who is a member of the                                                                        Girls Varsity  golf team and has a financial need

                               associated with attending college.

Guidelines:            1.  Financial need will be a consideration.  Provide

                                    a copy of your Free Application for Federal

                                                      Student Aid (FAPSA).

Bruce Keene Scholarship

Amount of Award:  $3,000.00

Target:                     Graduating senior and MVP of the Boys track team.

Guidelines:              1. Recipient must be accepted to attend

                                      College.       

                                 2. The $3,000 award is a one-time grant

                                     associated with the freshman year of   

                                     study.  

                                 3. In the event the MVP is not a senior, then

                                     the scholarship will be awarded to the

                                             next top senior track athlete as    

                                             determined by the Boys head track coach.
